What is a mock interview?
A mock interview is a practice conversation before a job interview. You rehearse explaining your experience, answering questions and asking your own. InterviewBloom uses an AI interviewer so you can practice speaking out loud and review feedback on your answers.
How does an AI interview simulation work?
Add your resume or background summary and the job description, then review your round plan. Your AI interviewer tailors questions to your background, the role and round objectives, and follows up on your answers in a live voice conversation. After the session, review your feedback and choose what to work on next. The interview simulation follows your role and objectives, across different industries and career stages.
Is this only for technical interviews?
No. Practice follows your target role, background and round objectives. It’s designed for different professions and career stages, not just software roles.
Am I talking to a real person?
Your interviewer is AI, presented as a lifelike digital character. You speak out loud in a live voice conversation. The portraits above are captured from the app, not a live call.
Do I need to turn on my camera?
No. A microphone is needed for the conversation; your camera is optional. If you enable it, the self-view stays on your computer.
Where can I use InterviewBloom?
InterviewBloom is being prepared as a desktop app for Windows and macOS. System requirements and supported release details will accompany the installers at launch.
What happens to my conversation?
Speech is processed by the interview service and AI providers to run your session. The app does not record raw microphone audio by default. Optional account saving can retain interview content. Review the in-app Privacy Policy before a session.
Does feedback predict whether I’ll get hired?
No. Feedback is practice guidance based on your conversation, not a hiring assessment or a guarantee. Use your judgment when reviewing AI suggestions.
